Dolanan Game in Sinetron Dari Jendela SMA Accused of Plagiarism Squid Game

 The soap opera Dari Jendela SMA is in the public spotlight after one of its scenes, Dolanan Game, went viral on social media.

The Game Dolanan that appeared in Dari Jendela SMA was in the spotlight because it was accused of plagiarizing the popular Korean drama Squid Game.

Indonesian netizens were busy discussing this and many criticized the soap opera for plagiarism.

Similar to the Squid Game, the participants are dressed in green jackets.

There is a serial number on the chest to the right of the jacket of each Dolanan Game player.

If in the Squid Game the guards wear red costumes and black masks with symbols, in the Dolanan Game it's a little different.

In the midst of the hectic discussion about the Dolanan Game, Netflix Indonesia gave its response.

Twitter account @NetflixID replied to a tweet from the visual viewing information sharing account, @moviemenfes, Friday.

"Squid game (2021) with local wisdom mvs," wrote @moviemenfes.

Netflix Indonesia replied to the tweet with a gif showing the face of Squid Game actor Lee Jung Jae laughing in a green costume.

As of Saturday (10/23/2021), Netflix Indonesia's tweet has received more than 3,900 likes and 360 retweets.

Netflix Indonesia's response turned out to make local netizens even more curious.

"Minnn… what if you find out that Korea is….," asked the account @shanti_tksxl.

"When there's no fuss, let's demand it to stop the soap opera," wrote the account @aenergyeppi.

"Mimin, netflix Indo, are you angry or laughing, so confused by your own country, man, wow," said the account @priskaa_juju.

Director and comedian Ernest Prakasa highlighted this.

Through uploading his personal Instagram account @ernestprakasa, he uploaded footage of the Dolanan Game scene.

Ernest bluntly questioned whether the TV station that broadcast the soap opera still had shame?

"Hello @sctv, I'm just asking.

Is there no shame in that?

Just a little bit…," quipped Ernest, Saturday (10/23/2021).

Suddenly, Meira Anastasia's husband's upload was flooded with comments from fellow artists and Indonesian filmmakers.

"Oh my....," commented the novelist @asmanadia.

"If this is the case, 021 won't it, Jakarta HAHA," wrote @adhrrf.

"It's bad! Then you are surprised that no one is watching terrestrial TV free to air anymore??" sarcastic @robertronny.

Sinetron Dari Jendela SMP tengah jadi sorotan publik setelah salah satu adegannya Dolanan Game viral di media sosial.

Dolanan Game yang muncul di Dari Jendela SMP jadi sorotan karena dituding plagiat drama korea populer Squid Game.

Netizen Indonesia pun ramai memperbincangan hal tersebut dan banyak yang mengecam sinetron tersebut melakukan plagiarisme.

Serupa dengan Squid Game, para peserta didandani mengenakan jaket hijau.

Terdapat nomor urut di dada sebelah kanan jaket tiap pemain Dolanan Game.

Jika dalam Squid Game para penjaga menggunakan kostum merah dan topeng hitam dengan simbol, di Dolanan Game sedikit berbeda.

Para penjaga Dolanan Game menggunakan kostum hitam dan topeng bergambar wajah manusia.

DI tengah ramainya perbincangan tentang Dolanan Game itu, Netflix Indonesia memberikan tanggapannya.

Sampai Sabtu (23/10/2021), twit Netflix Indonesia itu sudah mendapat lebih dari 3.900 likes dan 360 retweet.

Tanggapan Netflix Indonesia ini ternyata membuat netizen lokal semakin penasaran.

"Minnn… klo ketauan korea gmn yaa….," tanya akun @shanti_tksxl.

"Masa gaada keributan sih, ayo tuntut biar berenti itu sinetron," tulis akun @aenergyeppi.

"Mimin netflix Indo mau marah apa ketawa ya bingung sm negara sendiri y min wkwkwk," tutur akun @priskaa_juju.

Sutradara sekaligus komika Ernest Prakasa menyoroti hal tersebut.

Melalui unggahan akun Instagram pribadinya @ernestprakasa, ia mengunggah cuplikan adegan Dolanan Game.

Blak-blakan Ernest mempertanyakan apakah stasiun TV yang menayangkan sinetron tersebut masih punya rasa malu?
